Oh... well in that case:  Hot... fresh outta the oven hot... with beads of moisture running down off of it.. I use a finger to coax it into position... tantalizingly close to my mouth... And then I have my first nibble............

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Oh...my...God....

:blushing

I need to get ready for work now.

As for how I like to eat my pie ... I actually don't like pie. (Except peanut butter pie from Baker's Square that is.) What I do love however is ... Cheesecake!!!

You Are Humble Pie

You are an English rock music band, best known for your hard-rocking recordings and concert performances.

You initially consisted of Steve Marriott (formerly of The Small Faces; lead vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist), Peter Frampton (from Herd; lead guitarist), Greg Ridley (from Spooky Tooth; vocalist) and Jerry Shirley (from Valkyrie; drummer). Frampton had been looking to escape the Herd for most of the latter half of 1968. Marriott, with whom he'd developed a close friendship, suggested a young drummer for Frampton's next project — Shirley. Nothing really came of you, though, until New Year's Eve 1968. After storming off stage during a disastrous Small Faces gig, Marriott rang Frampton at his home later that night to ask if him and Ridley — a gifted bass player and singer who was a feeling a bit marginalized in Spooky Tooth — could join the young guitarist's new band... you.

Because the members had all previously played in high-profile groups, many viewed you as a "supergroup," although you were loathe to the term and the expectations that came with it. Your members started secretly rehearsing at Marriott's cottage in Moreton, Essex in early 1969. The objective was to hone the act away from media and public scrutiny. After signing with Andrew Loog Oldham's Immediate Records, you had planned to launch your first single and album in the spring, but were delayed after an injunction was filed by the Herd's management.

Eventually, you released your debut single "Natural Born Bugie" in July 1969. It was a number five hit in the UK Singles Chart, and was quickly followed by the album, As Safe as Yesterday Is. Most listeners praised As Safe Yesterday Is as a progressive, heavy album in the vein of The Small Faces. Although the record would later take a critical slagging in some corners, most notably in the pages of Rolling Stone, it peaked at No. 16 on the UK album charts... go you.
