er... I'm not quite sure I get the point... people can easily add this info to their member profile. Also note the useful 'CARD' button under each person's avatar! I would encourage people who don't mind be contacted to add this to their profile. Having multiple locations to record this info is probably more confusing than useful.

maybe a post like on the old dgn (like critter is doing here) would be easier for some since they can see everyone's info all at once though?

All that information was available on people's profiles back on EZBDGN, but still there was a post like this there.

Like Dyno said, I think it just makes things a little easier for people to access. I'm not sure if accounts here on IPB work like they did on EZB - with some being local, some being global - can't even remember if that was an option when I registered...

But could be that on EZBDGN, people didn't want to include that kind of information in their global profiles. Just guessing that could be one reason this sort of thread was popular & useful there. Which could be a reason for or against it here...

I have no idea what this 'CARD' button is that you speak of. But I do indeed have my AIM name in my profile already

EDIT: Scratch that, now I see it. Confusing since it's in a seperate little box from the avatar! That's pretty neat. Thanks Jarod
