Only until they're dead  :wink

We're not talking about killing people here; just fully utilizing resources once the person is dead and it doesn't matter anyway.

I'd be fine with it except for one thing - diseases.  That's the main problem with cannibalism.  We can eat most other animals without worrying too much, because most microbes that infect them are not able to infect humans.  With widespread cannibalism, there would be massive outbreaks of disease like we'd never seen before.

Exactly

I heard if you cook something for an hour and a half at 350 that will kill anything in it....or boil then broil.......

However I just have a feeling human tissue could harbor some bad shit you could not kill.  I don't know why.

You would think so, but mad cow disease and several other diseases can survive that heat. Bacterial things and parasites would be killed though.

It's just too gross to think about to me. I can hardly even eat meat when I consciously think about what I'm eating though.

I'm all for: if someone wants to eat someone else and that person to be eaten has died of natural causes than who cares. However, I agree with Dan in that it is likely to concentrate and make more virulent prion diseases and other related nasties~

*Kuru anyone??*

Heh, you can get food cooked in human breast milk in parts of India, China and Vietnam. and don't forhet people cheese!! *LOL*

That is just gross and strange. Can you see guys applying for the job of milking the pregnant womans breasts? The line must go down the street and around a corner or two.

My sister used to work in an emergency room in the hospital. Well sometimes baby's come fast. This lady came in and they did not have time to take her upstairs so she had it in emergency. She asked them if she could have the Afterbirlth put in a jar to take home because she heard some indigenous tribal persons used to eat it for extra nutrients as they are going to breast feed. She actually got quite mad when they wouldn't and said she was planning on havig the baby at home with a mid wife so she could do this.

She wanted to know why she couldn't walk out with something that came out of her anyway ect.......

It almost made me sick hearing this and I wonder, was she going to cook it or eat it raw?

Yuk.
