That's correct.... By posting on DGN you are more or less sending the message that you are not infact bored with it....

I try to keep it interesting....light.....fun. But people get mad at me. Someone told me to keep doing it because there are some depressed people on here who appreciate my sense of humor. I just want to cheer them up honetly. Don't take me so seriously and I will stick around.

personally, i tend to agree the board has hit a slight lull - every discussion board i've ever been involved with does, it's cyclical - that being said, i'd love to here ideas on how we all can make dgn more interesting. please, if you have any thoughts regarding this, why not post in this thread!? :grin

btw, i refuse to vote in this poll - i don't like any of the choices... :erm

I refuse to vote as well. The choices aren't exactly speaking for all of us. NO, the board isn't always jumping. SO WHAT! If it's boring, go do something. Like, get off your ass and leave your desk! There's an idea. I'm not here so much because I work 40+ hours a week. I'm exhausted when I get home. I can barely keep up some days. It's not my life.

I did not vote either and will not. I do not find DGN boring in the slightest. In fact, I find it laughable that with all the drama that has ensued over the years, including recently, that it could be considered boring by anyone's standards. Anyone who finds it boring must not be reading half of the posts that I do.

Of course, there are things that I don't like about certain posts and posting styles, but the same goes with society in general. There are thoughtful, caring people with something to contribute to society and there are otherwise. We do not discriminate based on intelligence and community value - we only try to keep the disruptive posters at bay.

its allowed me to make some friends and get to know people that circumstances normally would not allow for since my moving here last year from California. In fact its challenged me to take the next step and start meeting some peole in person, because I';ve developed and affinity for some of you.....

DGN changed allot over the past few months, i dont know why, maybe al lthe drama, maybe because some people left..... maybe because some people got pulled in to clics and now instead of being a person they are now part of the drama, maybe to many people got hurt so others are less open?

I think some people came here to change the tone for there own liking they were being selfish and forgot that this was a place for every one not just them.

I dont think DGn has gotten boring just changed tone, comfort level and is no longer a haven that many of us enjoy.

Also it is the busiest season of the year, if you are busy with friend family shopping etc... dont ya think everyone else is? Well if you are busy and some ruined your haven, the one place you might go when you do have a moment to relax, would you bother?
