cthulhu63
It hasn't made it up here yet. I can't wait to see it.
mallochai
Too-tally! I went for my birthday opening day in a nice spacious COLD theatre. *stupid alaska and it's stupid no-heat having theatres* The performances were quite impressive, especially the vocal training Joaquin must have gone through to sound so very Cash-esque. I'm still not sure if the Folsom prison scene was lip-synched or not though... that's the only one I'm not sure about. It's so right on, it's almost impossible for it to be any voice but Johnny's. He actually said the lines (and sang the songs) but then the effect was done to make his voice closer to Cash's. Nienna
I havn't seen it yet, but apparantly it's so good that my ex boyfriend was impressed to the point that he needed to drunken dial me at 2 AM to rave about how awesome it was. Onyx
I greatly enjoyed the movie. They left out so very much though, but at 2 hours 15 minutes I guess there wasn't much more time. They left out a lot of good things that he and June did that I wish were included, and concentrated just a bit too much on the drugs and the love story, but overall I enjoyed it very very much. I'll be buying this one for sure.
