Homicidalheathen
Can you beleive this? In the revolution of miniature of computers, the scientists are ahead with Bluetooth technology. Open the attachments and see the forthcoming computers within our pockets. This pen-sort-of instrument produces both the monitor as well as the keyboard on flat surfaces from where you can just carry out the normal operations you do on your desktop

Scary Guy
Yeah a google search is only pulling up tablet PC's and something for kids. It's cool and was only a matter of time before they developed it. I'm still more of a fan of direct wetware brain mapping and direct interface. If thats not an option... Dubh Aingeal
Found this over at Urban Legends Reference Page: Miniaturized personal computers are the next logical step, but many readers might be surprised to learn that a plan for PC components housed in devices the size and shape of ballpoint pens (as shown above) was showcased by a major electronics company over two years ago. At the 2003 ITU Telecom World exhibition held in Geneva, the Tokyo-based NEC corporation displayed a conceptual $30,000 prototype of what they dubbed a "Pen-style Personal Networking Gadget Package," or P-ISM. As NEC described the P-ISM: P-ISM is a gadget package including five functions: a pen-style cellular phone with a handwriting data input function, virtual keyboard, a very small projector, camera scanner, and personal ID key with cashless pass function. P-ISMs are connected with one another through short-range wireless technology. The whole set is also connected to the Internet through the cellular phone function. This personal gadget in a minimalistic pen style enables the ultimate ubiquitous computing. And just for those who think that since its on a Urban legends page it must be completely false and fake. Here is the link to NEC's web page: Located about half way down the page. Some of the other ideas on here looked kind cool like the Duo-phone and pc, or the braclet (but I see the braclet quickly becoming a portable pron viewer).
