The toilet paper issue is what comes to my mind. You're supposed to do that standing up, too?

I am afraid If I use this it will just make a mess of me. I wonder if it really works all that well and, how do you rinse it after your done? No dripping wet with pee thing is going back into my pocket, purse or car......ya know?

I think the 2nd link, the thing is made out of paper. You know, like the little cones you get at the gas station so you can put oil in your car?

I feel bad littering though. TP disolves easy so I don't worry about it as much but like tampax holders I don't want to see these things blowing/rolling around my hood which is disgusting enough.

I pee almost anywhere anyway. I don't understand the law against it. There should be a porta potty on every street corner if ya ask me.

I checked out some of the links on the sites... regarding sanitary/rinsing issues.

Obviously, if you're in a place with a sink, water is a good solution. If not, Whiz actually come with a bag to place it into after use. This can still lead to a little urine in the bag and whatnot, but you should also remember that urine is actually sterile. Sure, it smells bad, but your own urine won't make you sick unless you're drinking it.

Whiz also makes a version that's coated with a material that's water repellant, so it only retains a few drops of moisture that can be shaken off easily. Think of a vinyl raincoat, but in reverse.

I'm not as crazy about the disposable version. Sure, disposable is easy, but it also means quantity; both to carry for long trips, and to use up and fill trash cans with. Or attract bears with.

For some reason, I think bears like the smell of human urine. Maybe that's a camping myth.
