Well, I got my new corset yesterday...

...and I am very, very pleased to say that I'm very, very happy with it.

And Jon was so happy with it, we had to break it in. :whistling He's planning lots of overtime hours to buy me more. :grin

Interesting thing is, Karolyn, the seller I talked with via e-mail, recommended I get the larger size that I was considering. I don't think I'm going to have any problem whatsoever getting the full 3" reduction it allows for right off the bat. I will probably have to order my next one in a smaller size, allowing for up to a 6" reduction.

I agree with the 6" reduction statement. i am used to corests and in fact usuallt by AE corsets around 10" small. They stretch alittle as they break in, and adjust to your body, so the larger reduction is more comfortable, and the inches are nowhere near accurate after the breakin period. (Don't go for the 10" though! LOL)

She recommended the larger size due to my disproportionate belly. It didn't look like the smaller size would close on that area at all.

But turnst out, it does. I may be big in the belly, but it's soft, and easily squeezed. And no matter WHAT size I get, my belly is going to bulge out the bottom, so I'll probably have to find ways to work around that skirt-wise. I AM thinking a downward V-shape in front will provide a little camoflage in that area after all.

I had to close it all the way at the top to get it to fit my boobs, and we didn't even totally snug it up at the waist & belly before Jon had to have his way with me. :laughing

So there's plenty of room for more tightening. I'll stick with this one for now, and when I'm ready for more reduction, I'll either alter it myself by lopping off a few inches at the back and putting new grommets, or have a leatherworker do it for me.

  So, where's the pic?

I will be wearing it publicly for the first time New Year's Eve at CC. Come see it in person!!! :grin

Jon and I will take pictures on New Year's Eve.

My avatar pic was taken after attending CC New Year's Eve 2001/2002. I won't attempt the same pose again, that would be silly. But maybe it's time for some new pics. I'll be wearing the same outfit, but with the corset added, and new jewelry.

Awww. Thanks!

We have some financial obligations to take care of first. Then Ill be shopping for Corset #2. I'm looking to add something either entirely red or with red of some kind in the mix.

I picked up this gorgeous, full-length satiny tiered full skirt from the Salvation Army today that is begging to be paired with that corset. If I can work up the guts to wear it without a shirt or blouse of some kind underneath, I will.
