I just bought my first actual corset.

God ladies why do you torture yourselves this way????

My sis had strapped me into one before but that was way before the diverticulitis and colitis.

My doc said not to wear one so I wear it as loose as possible. It kinda hurts my implants even.

I say if your into corsets your into bondage and pain at least a little....you freaks.

I usually do an 8" reduction and it dosn't hurt me at all... sounds like you either got one that isn't built right for your shape or you aren't in good enough heslth to b squishing yourself like that!

Ditto Nienna.

I am not into pain or bondage of any kind. And I personally think the sensation of being corseted is lightyears away from the sort of pain involved in S&M, B&D & pain-play.

The very day I got mine, I was comfortable in it. The sensation I got was that of an all-over, body hug. It was uncomfortable to sit in mostly because it required sitting EXTREMELY straight. And coming all the way up to almost armpit level made driving a bit difficult.

But overall, it was comfortable enough that I eventually forgot what I was wearing. I'm only doing a 3" reduction right now, but since most of what I'm cinching is soft fat (gads, why do I allow myself to be so freaking frank?), it squeezes well.

There are many factors which I could see going into making you or others uncomfortable. But I am ready for more.

    • I am currently floored.   FedEx did a massive 6 box delivery to the wrong address.  I had an autoship order scheduled to arrive before this past weekend.  Nothing showed up.  I contacted the order site and they had a link for the order...a photo of all my boxes thrown in the snow and up the sidewalk of a residence that was not mine.   You would think that at some point, the driver would have looked at the delivery address after they kept throwing box upon box at this location with no shelter from the elements.  They didn't even knock on the door to inform the residents that massive 65+ pound boxes were left all over their walkway.  Nope.  Just dumped them, took a photo as they were walking away and left.   I wonder what the person who found all of those misdelivered boxes must have been thinking when they saw them.  Maybe they kept everything to use, distribute or sell.  No idea.  No claim was filed on that end as of yet.   Fortunately for me, one of the sites that I ordered from, replaced everything at no extra cost.   Unfortunately, now I'm concerned for the other items yet to be delivered.   Needless to say, I'll be watching my notifications like a hawk.
