How many pieces of Pizza can you eat?

Here is what I want to know, am I the pizza eating king or not?

I am talking cheese pizza only. regular sized pizza slices. You know what I mean when I say regular sized....think a slice from Sbarro.

even if you don't like plain cheese pizza's, just estimate how many you could eat in one sitting. Water is the only other thing you would be consuming in this hypothetical scenario.

im going to say 13. i dont know that i cpuld do it nowadays, but back in the day, i certainly could.

even so, a normal large from little ceasers is 10 slices (IIRC). i COULD eat that in a sitting if i put my mind to it. were i prepared, i could probably down 2-3 more slices.

14+ would be just silly, IMO. hell, 12 is probably silly enough for me.

This almost sounds like a challenge. Is a DGN pizza eating contest in the works? I would gladly partake in such an event.

I could eat a large Little Ceasers pizza myself If I am hungry enough (I am so busy at work that I only really have time to eat once i return home) so I guess that would equal out to maybe 4 Sbarro size slices, perhaps 5.

I am asking because today I ate 7 large pizzas from little caesars and then went back and ate 4 more. Then I was still hungry so I went to Sbarro and ate 26 of their slices. I would have had more but I had 3 gallons of ice cream on the ride to sbarro.

Though I'm not familar with Sbarro's pizza, I worked for Pizza Hut, Pizza One and Little Caesers when I was in my early 20's (can you say Sooth likes pizza?) :laughing

And hey, pizzaria's are good jobs for musicians. Anywho. I could prolly eat a large Pizza Hut cheese only pizza by myself if I hadn't had anything to eat all day. Otherwise, maybe only 5 - 6 slices. I'm now a light weight eater. Did I mention I love pizza ? :laughing :grin

I asked how many slices came in a large pizza and the waiter said twelve. I knew there was no way I could eat that many slices so I had him cut it into only eight.

I'm just going to lie about everything here.... so Yes.. I can eat a pizza the size of the Silverdome. However, that's only if I don't drink any beer. Then it's like half that.

I answered 3. That's under normal circumstances, with a single pie in front of me. In that case, I am actually pushing myself past the 2 that would be more normal. In the 80's, we ate pizza at Mike & Sylvia's EVERY FREAKING FRIDAY and played video games. So I got reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal sick of pizza for years.

I don't get in the mood for it very much anymore. But in North Carolina, Jon and I discovered CiCi's Pizza Buffet, which we only discovered last week are also in Michigan. I can eat up to 5 pieces there, depending on whether or not I'm eating pasta & salad.

But when Jon and I were living briefly in Florida and so down on our luck that we were surviving on pot pies and bagels brought to us from an Einstein Brothers' employee, we discovered Hungry Howie's pizza buffet.

We went there one night, and scared ourselves. Literally. Because we each probably ate 12 slices of pizza, and more than likely, more. Especially Jon - I wouldn't doubt he ate up to 20 slices that visit. And what scared us was we stopped only because we started getting embarassed - WE WEREN'T FULL.

I could never do that today. I still look back on that day with wonder & amazement. That's probably why I don't read books anymore.

O.k. That last part was a joke. But it was something to behold.

OK, if we're talking a Med round pizza, with 2-3 toppings, I could eat about 5-6 slices. Now if you eat more than 5-6, you might as well eat the whole thing. But that's rude, if you have company and they'll never invite you back, cus u r a piglet umm, for God's sake what am I rambling on about...?

i can eat 2. i used to be able to eat a lot more but not now.

and as for little caesars 5 dollar pizzas - i can't eat those at all. they make me sick.

and ted, you can say i am not american all you want but little caesar 5 dollar pizzas suck monkey balls. they taste ok but they make me sick! something about how they sit out in a heater til you get there... i don't know. i get jimmy john's instead. it is right next door and the family eats the 5 dollar poison.

i eat just cheese pizza, all the time. i prefer it that way. or only with veggie toppings. and no more than 1 or 2 at a time. too much is just... too much. and i usually have it with water. used to be pepsi but i can't handle pop really anymore and never liked beer.

I also answered as if it were a normal sitting. I would/could eat 3. That is pretty normal for me.

Now if challenged and I didn't have to worry about who was watching my fat ass chomp down on a crap load of pizza...well, I could do a Little Ceasers $5 large myself. Sick and wrong, but I COULD do it.

Remember it? What do you think Little Ceasers is selling for 5 dollars. Yup the pizza that was left over from our high school days. So yeah some of those are a bit older than you might have thought.

If eating pizza out in public I will usually stop after three or 4. When at work I will eat about 6 or 7. At home watching a movie/tv or gaming i can easily put down a large pizza by myself along with some cheesy bread and/or a order of wings.

Of course I also probably won't eat again for quite a long time afterwards to the annoyance of the GF.
