:devil I remember when there were more rock stations on the redio awhile back, now there are hardly any.

WLLZ 98.7

WABX 99.5

ZROCK, Then The Bear, ZROCK WAS BETTER, 102.7

102.9 WIQB in Ann Arbor They played a very good variety!

96.3 WHYT in the early 80's and when it was the Planet

WWWW Before it became country

WRIF was better 20 years ago!

Those were the days.

I usually listen to CD's in the car, but my CD player has been acting up and not wanting to play ... so I listen to 88.7 or 101.1 ... contemplating reinstalling my Sirius system.

At home I listen to streaming Industrial on internet radio stations.

I still have about 6 audio tapes full of tracks taped off of WABX in the 80's. They weren't rock then, though. They were alternative. The Cure, The Fall, Men Without Hats, Kim Wilde, Talking Heads. Stuff like that.

Sirius has some great rock stations. I really need to pay the bill and get our system going again. I can only listen to so much Daminsky & Doyle.

what about WCSX?  They play Led Zeppelin every single day, it rules!

:laughing

Detroit radio has sucked for well over a decade. I remember when WLLZ 98.7 turned into a jazz station overnight. I went to play WLLZ in my car and heard jazz and I had to look at my stereo. :laughing

I thought - WTF!!!

And then we had Z - Rock for a whole year and that's when WRIF got their act together and started playing good music again but since Z - Rock left detrioit radio went to shit again. Well at least we still have 89X and some college stations.
