Food Poisoning

:devil I was with one of my friends all day this past Friday taking care of some things,and just to get out of the house. Well me and her and her daughter went out to my friends mothers to pick up her brother so he could babysit. Later on about around 4:00 PM we went to go eat at Friday's out in Canton. She happened to order these things called Hot Stickers, and I ordered an Italian meal. We were there for at least an hour and a half,then went to one of her friends to hang out and get plans all set. After she took me back to my car, which was at her boyfriends house,I just asked what time to be at her house to pick her up.When I got back home I got ready and went to pick her up, we got to the club at around 11:00 and proceeded to drink and have fun.Well about around 12:00- 12:30 she started to feel sick and I was wondering if she might have had too much to drink. So I just hung around the area to make sure that she was going to be ok and then she told me how much she drank and told me she might have food poisoning. Well I went over to the vending machine to get some pretzels so she could soak up the food in her stomache. All the pretzels were gone, and I did'nt know where to get any because something had to be done quick! I told her I would be back and I went to look for one of my friends that worked at the club. I found my one buudy Dark Racer and told him what was going on, He went to the restaraunt and got a couple bags of pretzels. PS Thankyou so much for the help Dark Racer; Now back to the subject, I told her to start eating the pretzels because they will soak up the bad stuff. It took quite awhile but around 2:30-3:00 she started to feel much better later on she was on the dance floor having a very fun time! All I can say is that this was a serious matter and I was happy she did'nt end up in the hospital. This goes out to everyone that I know, if you eat out make sure everything you order is fully cooked(especially pork) and hopefully this won't happen to you. I have had my experiences and it was'nt pleasent. just be careful!!!!!

This is why I usually eat at home, I have been poisnoned 3 times now.

I have gotten food posioning about 4 times now. You know if you have it! Stuff is coming out both ends and its not a short lived thing.

I have gotten it twice now from a frozen pizza.

A friend of mine got poisoning from a Wendy's chicken sandwich. He thinks it was because the mayo got warm while the sandwich was under the heat lamp.

Me? I like Red Robin's food but it has um. . . . less than desirable effects on my body so I don't ever go there now.

However, it's completely random as to where you might get sick from.

I read-up on food poisoning at one point because I suffered two VERY serious bouts of it while in NC.

More often than not, when picked up from restaurants, it's due to bacteria spread by food preparers who don't wash their hands after going to the bathroom. It's not usually due to spoiled or uncooked foods, especially with new standards in most places.

I got sick twice in NC, so bad I ended up in the emergency room. Not somethign I'm quick to do, but after 8+ hours of diarrhea and puking to the point of dry heaves, dehydration & exhaustion with no end in sight, the ER was an incredibly welcome respite.

I was particularly bad the first time. They said I should have come in earlier than I did, it was so bad.

The 2nd time was from a chinese restaurant. We never went back to either place again.
