The reason for "age discrimination" is because potential employers want someone who can put 20+ years in at the same job/company. I understand your frustrations. I'm a little older than you are, Crank, and it worries me when I contemplate changing jobs or going back to school.

:devil and people wonder why so many are on the welfare system,especially us single people.

:devil Yeah I won't work for minimum wage jobs, yeah this country really sux.

You will do what you need to do when you need to do it.

More than once I've worked two jobs to make ends meet. . . . and one of the times I had two jobs was while I was married so that my husband could take the time he needed to get the job he was qualified for.

All I know, is if you're hungry enough, a McDonald's paycheck looks pretty damn sweet.
