I just turned the game off in the 4th quarter. It's such a farce this year. It's easy to tell it's planned for the Steelers to win. 3 majorly bad calls otherwise the score would be 14-17 not 10-21. I hate bad officiating but what I hate worse is obvious blown calls to favor a team. For me, this year's game is tainted.

I was leaning towards the Seahawks but some of the calls ruined the game for me. And I'm not mad that the Steelers won, just mad at the calls. Even if the calls went right, score would have been 17-14 Steelers anyway figuring the one touchdown would have ended up a field goal. Now I am not saying Steelers didn't deserve to win, even with the corrections they would have won but the tempo of the game would have been different. Just my observations.

Another thing. They played up Bettis being from Detroit yet 2 other players for the Steelers are from Detroit and another played at Michigan. Makes one wonder why he got all the play up and the others were ignored.

Bad calls are just a part of the game. There are bad calls in all of sports. It has always has been this way and always will be. The refs are not always right and that is why there are options for the coaches to put a play under review, it is there for a reason and it usually works itself out.

I just got in from watching the game in Detroit and it is awesome down there. people really missed out if they never went down there. The city has never, ever looked so good and there was so much to do.

I call was reviewed and left to stand so Steelers got their first touchdown even tho it wasn't. Player was down by contact before he put the ball over the goal line. Call should have been reversed so even reviews will let things slide. It just seemed to me that the calls were going in the Steelers favor a little too much. And Seattle should have requested a review of their called back touchdown, it was more defensive pass interference since the defender was mauling the receiver almost to the point of mugging him. And calling the Quaterback for an illegal hit when it was a legal tackle??? Definitely suspicious on the part of the Refs. And for the record, while I was hoping Seattle would win, I am being imparial on the calls as far as my opinion on them is concerned. If I had seen a bad call against the Steelers, I'd complain about that too but I didn't watch alot of the game once I saw how the tempo was going referee wise.

I agree. The commercials were totally disappointing this year. Hardly any good ones at all. At least I had plenty of beer and dip. I won 2/2 dart games too. First one was 501, second was cut-throat Cricket.

... Oh? Football game? I didn't notice.

Yeah, that was NOT in.  5 inches too short.  (And no, I haven't heard that before.  )

They have a set amount of time to review the play and if they cannot make a decision in that set amount of time that play will not be reversed. Out of all the angles they showed only two of them made it look like he was not in.
