Buried in snow

There's 16 inches on the ground and snow still falling - big fluffy lake-effect snowflakes that pile up fast. I only picked up a few things at the grocery this week and forgot to get milk. grrr. There is so much snow here today I can't even drive down the street to the mailroom to see if the mail got delivered. The snowplows haven't been by and it's already noon.

On the bright side though, my apartment has heat included in the rent so my kids and I are toasty warm. My cable is functioning and I have a few bucks available to rent some pay-per-view videos. My internet is up and running (for which I am immensely grateful) and my power is on and the phone is functioning so I can a call few people to relieve the boredom this weekend.

How are things in Detroit?

it is crappy here. it took me about two hours to get from livonia to harper woods. my neighbor is snow-blowing his snow. by the time he got done, he had to do it over again cuz that much more snow fell and piled up on his driveway/sidewalk.

i need to go to the store and get stuff but hate to have to bring all 3 kids out in this.

i hate days like this. it is soooo awful out there. :(

lol, apparently cabin fever has set in.

Yeah, it's fairly snowy here. Enough that when I look out the window at my buried car, I don't want to leave the apartment today.

I sure hope the call girls in my area are braver than yours. I've got some things I need kept warm, and the air vents just aren't doing it...

we had to poke the ground to find the next guy to relieve watch.

it never snows where i live, but 1.5 miles north usually has big snowdrifts in that town, thier just over the brow of the mointain and protected from salt air comming of the estury through my town

Last night I was driving to a friends house. I was listening to a radio station out of Saginaw and they were going on and on about all the snow that was expected by this morning. They said how bad the road condition were and how it was taking you own life in your hands to go outside....

OK, this is where I got confused. I was looking at clear roads. You know, drive pavement. The stars were out and shining brightly with nary a cloud in sight. Granted it was cold, but I was pretty sure I could survive the short walk from the car to my friends door.

Now, how is it that I live 5 miles north of BFE and I had better winter weather than anyone?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I AM STUCK!!!!!!  THERE IS 234 INCHES OF SNOW HERE IN WEST BLOOMFIELD, MICHIGAN.

I can't see out my windows because the snow is up to my roof and we have a two story house!!!!!!    I had to climb thru the attic onto the roof to try and SOS an emergency pizza delivery driver!

I am starting to worry that the escort service isn't sending over Bambi, whom I ordered over 2 hours ago.  Apparently prostitutes will let you stick weird parts of your body into weird parts of their body but they absolutely refuse to get on a sled.    Yeah, that makes sense.

I tried digging my way out but I ended up in Hong Kong.  Jackie Chan helped me dig my way back and now he's in my kitchen waiting for me to make him Egg Fried Rice.

This whole situation really sucks because it has ruined my plans to sit around the house and do nothing all day.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

ROFLMAO

Dude you make some fuckin off the wall posts... :woot:
