relationship length?

just kinda curious, mine have been from first to last g/f

1 year with my first g/f

2 years with my second g/f

8 days with my third g/f

so just curious how i rate around there.

Hmm..... first serious BF.... if you could call it that..... it lasted about...... 3 months? And 2 weeks, I think.

2nd serious..... 2 weeks

With Ray, just short of 5 months.

(( anyone seeing a trend of short relationships here? Or is it just me? ))

My first relationship was 9 years long.

Then I had a disasterous 3 month on, 2 month off 1 month on, over thing.

The last one before my current lasted about 9 months...

I've been with my current almost 1 month now. LOL

I've only had two serious relationships

First b/f, who is also the father of my daughter, 8 VERY long years.

A couple short-term b/f's here and there.

And now. My fiance, the father of my son. 4 years.

There was one kid in high school that lasted like a week or two. He was fun to make out with just nothing else :erm

My first real girlfriend broke up with me after two months.

Then I was single for FIVE years before meeting another gal I liked who had interest in me. She broke up with me after two months.

Then I was single for SIX fucking years where every gal I tried talking to automatically responded with, "I have a boyfriend," or something similar.

Once, I met this gal in a coffee shop and we had this great conversation. Her watch alarm went off and she had to go. She said, "It was really great meeting you. We definately need to finish this conversation sometime."

"Cool," I responded. "Let's trade numbers and maybe we can meet up back here sometime."

"I have a boyfriend," she replied. Then she got this really weird look on her face and stated, "Actually, I don't. I have no idea why I just said that. I've gotta go."

And then she wandered off and I never saw her again.

Finally, when all hope seemed lost, I met the woman of my dreams. If God came down from the heavens and said, "Scott, you've had the worst luck with women and for that I'm sorry. To make it up to you I will make you a woman to your exact specifications. What do you want?"

I'd just point at Brooke and say, "Her. You already made her. Just make her mine."

She and I dated for the three most wonderful months of my life before she grew really distant and eventually removed herself from my life forever.

It's now been over a year and a half and the only gal I've developed serious feelings for so far shot me down.

So that's it. 2 months dating, 5 years single, 2 months dating, 6 years single, 3 months dating, 1.5 years single and counting. Now does everyone understand why I'm so bitter and resentful?

I'm the greatest guy you'll ever meet, but nobody will even give me a chance. Well, nobody I'm attracted to anyway. The excuse I always get when I'm being dumped? "You're just too great. You treat me so well and I would just hurt you if we stayed together. You need to find somebody else that's more deserving of you than I."

My shortest actual b/f... prolly Mikey. He transferred to my school mid-year and after we had hung out for a couple weeks he asked me out. We dated about 2 weeks when he told me he was GAY and had wanted a gf cuz he wanted to 'fit in' at a new school. (" oh so thats why we only ever kissed... " ) OF COURSE i was crushed cuz he was SUPER-CUTE and i really liked him. We are still friends....

then i had few short ones all around 1 month... then i was with a guy for a lil over 4 months, and then i had another month-ish relationship and i havent been in a relationship since (1 year 2 months now i've been single)

i kind of have difficulty staying in long relationships. i get bored of people easily, not to mention i dont exactly attract the best of guys and eventually i realize just what creeps/psychos/mean/stupid horrible guys they are.
