If there is it is the same date as the Grendel show at the Lab. You can always see a local fetish show but a national tour by a great Industrial band happens rarely. Grendel will even be cheaper than Mephisto's.

Im thinking I may end up at the fetish show. I know im going to grendel but afterwords i have to go somewhere and city just doesnt do it for me so either luna or mephistos. The fetish show sounds fun. nothing like a bit of desecration to end an evening.

I am not bitter about Mephisto's at all and to correct the record I was NOT fired. I was given the option of taking a pay cut so I quit. I have not posted anything negative about Mephisto's in any public forum or in my private journals. Jon is a good and decent man. I would recomend Mephisto's to everyone on a Saturday nights. Meta is a good DJ and a sweet person. I would not advise anyone however to go on Wedensday as they will be stuck hearing you all night. The smartest thing you do David is to NOT Adverstise the fact that you DJ every week up there.

I'm always so amused by the jinx/scary guy debate. Seems like two guys that promote the scene could just set the personal attacks aside. Jinx is by far my favorite DJ in the "scene" but that’s just me and my more modern syth, EBM fair. The couple times I’ve heard Scaryguy spin I wasn’t that impressed but to his defense I was drunk off my ass and it was my first night at Mephisto’s. The club was really nice but it did really feel like a house. Very intimate and I met a lot of kewl people which I can’t say of Necto. Necto is great to get my dance on but It’s so loud and seating is a bitch sometimes. Eh my two cents. I'll keep coming to both and if the rumor mill is right about Grendel I'm in for Mephisto’s fetish show.

Saturdays have gotten a lot better since you were put out to pasture. I have heard way less trainwrecks. Metta said to me "none of my mixes are going right" and to her they might not have been. But they still sounded better than most of yours.

And people wonder why I don't go to Necto. As soon as they get a good DJ I'll be back.

BTW learn how to used the fixed function right, it's only used when editiong what other people say in a quote.

Anyhow I'm done and I hope I haven't violated the "play nice" rules too much.

You can lie about me all you want David. I would never DJ anywhere on a weekly basis for free. Only Tools such as yourself would work for free so you can claim your a working DJ. You got paid 1 large pizza and a 2 liter to DJ at mephisto's. (By the way folks this is not a joke this is what John paid him to work) If I am so shitty how come 200 + people are at Necto every week and you average around 10. I am done spending time fighting with you. I will give you the last word if you feel you need it. Last words are for assholes who haven't said enough already. Case closed

By the way, since I have far more underground synthpop cd's than anyone (note I did not say more EBM or Future Pop or Industrial) I will offer my services to mephistos on a weekly basis in exchange for a large pizza from amici's. Cheese only, not one of their $5 pizza's that have been sitting there since 1927.

Detroit needs a synthpop night, purely synthpop, and I need pizza.

Jinx it is only lying if it isn't true (and if it's not true then John has lied to me so you're basically calling him a liar). I got NOTHING when I started two years ago because he was hurting for business and I figured having a DJ up on the second floor would help with that back when Gleek was doing Sundays. Now I get payed decent coin, and my pizza (also it wasn't a two liter, it was all the soda I could drink, not that the fact matters but you might as well have the right facts).

Fact is you've only used our club to promote Necto. You haven't said anything negative about Mephisto's because you haven't said ANYTHING about Mephisto's (maybe two posts in your entire journal telling people to come out while you were working for us, one or two posts on the forums and nohting on myspace).

I also haven't called you (on here) a tool or an asshole and I've used a lot of tact to follow the rules in this arguement (flame thing, whatever).

Anyhow people can think whatever they want. I know the truth.
