well, I'm home from the gig, and my ears are ringing from the monitors....

1st set was rough.

we had alot of feedback problems, and it took our soundman almost a full set to figure it out. But thatnk God for soundmen, because I dont know anything about that sort of stuff.....

2nd set was kickin. We solved our sound problems, and we all dropped in the groove togethor. Lots of dancers, I love that.

3rd set was also great. I am one tired Steven.

Saw the prettiest girl there tonight.

She called herself marblez. What a classy lady, It was great to finnaly meet her face to face and talk. Thank you Tina, for supporting me out there, I hope you had a good time. Me and you - karaoke - and I dont even like karaoke, but I'll do it anyway.

Were playing again tommorow and then again next weekend at Chatters. Its just rock and roll, but your all welcome to come join us......(Brenda, wish you were here)

I am feeling it a bit myself. Haha. Was it packed in there or what?? I am used to the place when there is 20 or fewer people for karaoke.

Thanks Steven, I had a great time. I was by far not the prettiest girl (he was blinded by the spotlight).

I will say though that Laura is beautiful. It is so crazy though that as I was standing there when I first came in, my eyes went directly to her and I considered asking if she was Laura. You have never even described her to my knowledge. Something about her, I guess.

JUST rock and roll? HUH? Oh hell no, you can not get away with that. It was foo fighters, led zeppelin, beatles, big & rich, evanescence, billy joel, rob thomas... lots and lots more. I am somewhat embarrased to admit that the country song was the one to get me up and dancing - or was it the 4 free tattoo and cranberries? I was quite blown away, Steven, you have an awesome vocal range and repertoire!!

oh and my guests were quite impressed as well... they left earlier due to the swaying that you noticed. Best to leave before you get kicked out, right? lol.

I didint get to say goodbye but I'm glad you had a good time. Tonight I'm going to be soooooo tired when were done that I'm going straight to bed so I can make it to church on sunday, ah the price4 of Rock and Roll....

I think that's pretty cool how you picked Laura out of the crowd. They say when you've been with somone long enough you start to become each other.....so maybe that was a familair vibe you felt when you saw her. I'm glad you two met, she's a hoot, and I told her this morning that I want to have you out to our place for summer barbecue.....
