So I got fired from my landscaping job already. "I do a good job but I'm not quick enough on my feet"..

Whatever.

The best part is they cut my hourly pay by 1.50 an hour on my last check. Isn't that illegal? I know they did it on purpose cuz I overheard the boss saying something about cutting some kid who just got fired shortly before I got hired, in the same way I just got screwed. I haven't confronted them about it yet cuz I'm not sure what to do. I'm going to pretend they just made a mistake and be polite but that's going to be a little difficult cuz right now I'd like to break both of Drunk Dave's legs (the owner).

I think you have a good strategy... Give them the benfit of the doubt the first time you question them about it. If they insist on shortchanging you, get the claws out. I wouldn't hesitate to threaten legal action.
