I sort of like the flat look, but somehow it doesn't look like *me* when I look in the mirrir. I'd probably get used to it if I wore it more.

yep, i know what you mean. whenever i have tried different hair things i always think "but it doesn't look like *me*" even if it looks nice, i still feel weird about it.

i really felt that way on my wedding day. my hair and make up.

first thing my husband even said to me was "you don't look like you" nice :doh

but it was true. i guess i looked ... nice ... but it still didn't look like me; with my messy curly hair and no make up.

while i've enjoyed the fluffiness over the years, I really love the framing of the flatness. It makes your eyes looks oh so mysterious.
