So I am listening to the new Clan of Xymox CD "Breaking Point" on Metropolis records. It's pretty good but I've noticed something, Since Clan of Xymox came back with a new lineup in the late 90's they havn't really changed their sound that much, it's like every record is exactly the same as the last. They all have catchy goth rock songs in the vein of Sisters of Mercy and they all have electro synth parts similar to VNV Nation but if you've heard one album, you've heard them all.

When I was in highschool they were one of my favorite bands ("Evelyn" is still a 'goth' classic). I've also noticed I'm the only person in the world who liked the "Xymox" period where they dropped the "clan of" from their name and went club/pop in the early to mid 90's.
