Marblez
In another attempt to completely repel any prospective suitors, I am considering a new workout regimen which includes training as a boxer. For real. I doubt I would actually take it out of the gym and try to do it professionally. It will definitely be a challenge for me and should be a fun one at that. Anyone here have any experience with boxing or know of a boxing gym somewhere between Ann Arbor and Detroit? And before you say it, no, I am not looking to get my nose broken. That's one reason that I will likely not take it to the professional level. Who knows, if I get pretty good, I might not have too worry much about being hit! ManicQueen
Sounds like fun. I know some people that go to a boxing gym that's on Gratiot in Detroit. I think there's one in Novi too but I'm sure they're all over the place. Shouldn't be hard finding one.

Homicidalheathen
My freind tried to talk me into this. I lift weights and was so disappointed in the size of my arms after 5 yrs, and with one dislocation...I was ready to try the female version of the steroid, but I don't want a mustache. Her arms and legs are big. Not big with fat.....its all muscle. All she does is Box. It is a good all over body workout. I tried it and was wore out in like 5 min. You seem to have a good physique for this, your tall and strong. Like her. Good luck!

Marblez
Thanks everyone for the links and gym info. I'll be looking into them. I would most like to find someone who knows someone. A friend of the family has one but is is way on the east side. Yeah Steven, I understand the face thing, it worries me a bit as well. But in a sparring/training situation there is not much to worry about.

One of my best friends (Annie) used to box and Kronk and compete, she was barely 5 foot but extremely tough. Great beer drinking partner too. But she moved this year to Virginia. Maybe Ill be able to get some pointers from her for you in order to get started.
