I totally agree.... but sometimes, I have to break my own "ignore it tactfully" rule and tell people to chill the fuck out. But I try to make it clear that I'm telling EVERYONE to chilld out, not just the usual suspects.

***edit: I should also point out that no one listens to me when I say things like that anyway... and why the hell would they? eh? :erm
